Part-Time Weekend Floor Care Technician The part-time special projects floor cleaner is responsible for floor and carpet cleaning using industrial floor care equipment in assigned location(s). Work will be performed at different Pre-School locations in Cobb County on weekends (Saturday preferred) for 8-10 hours per shift throughout the year (40+ weeks).

NO HOLIDAY WEEKENDS.

Opportunities for additional hours may be available at a later stage. PAY is $18.00- $20.00 an hour + Transportation Allowance (if applicable)

Job Responsibilities:

Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping Operating heavy floor cleaning equipment Use proper procedures on hard floor care (buffing, scrubbing, stripping & waxing) in compliance with principles of hard surface floor maintenance Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc?.) Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned for cleaning of large area of floor surface Follows all CCG safety standards, sanitation, and infection control standards and procedures and requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies Moving room furniture around to clear space for cleaning floors Restore room condition back to the original condition once floor care is complete Perform routine operational maintenance of equipment Other related tasks as required

Requirements:

Must be eligible to legally work in the USA No direct previous experience required Have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license Team oriented, also can complete tasks alone Self-starter and independent Detail oriented, fast paced, but focused Have an excellent work ethic Honest and reliable Open to constructive feedback Excellent attendance Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds Great Job for those with Previous Work Experience in: Floor Care Cleaning Companies Hotel cleaning / housekeeping Property management/ apartment cleaning Janitorial / Custodian Facility/ Maintenance Technician Se Habla Espanol!
