In this vital role, you will perform a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the workspace remains pristine, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Your proactive approach will contribute to smooth operations and uphold the high standards of cleanliness essential for optimal productivity. Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC machines, EDM equipment, and other shop machinery .Inspect equipment for issues, alarms, or irregular performance and report or resolve as needed . Maintain cleanliness of machines, work areas, and shop floors (chips removal, wiping surfaces, organizing workspaces) . Track and document maintenance data (coolant concentration, inspections, forklift water levels etc.) . Ensure proper organization of tools, fixtures, and workstations . Assist with inventory checks for maintenance related materials and supplies . Support production team with tasks such as deburring, cleaning parts, hardware installation, and packaging .Forklift experience (not required) Basic Qualifications . Familiarity with CNC machines, EDM, or similar equipment is a plus . Basic mechanical Capabilities (ability to inspect, clean, and maintain machinery) . Ability to follow maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures . Capable of lifting heavy materials and performing physical tasks throughout the shift Skills & Traits .Strong attention to detail and organization . Proactive mindset. Able to spot and address issues before they become problems. . Willingness to assist across departments as needed . Basic understanding of shop safety and equipment care . Good communication and teamwork skills Expectations . Hands-on, physically active role in a manufacturing shop . Exposure to machinery, metal chips, coolant systems, and industrial noise . Requires standing, walking, lifting, and cleaning throughout the shift

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
