No experience necessary but must have a good attitude, able to take direction, and work hard. Any training with be provided. Lots of opportunity for growth within the company.
Common Helper Tasks:
Load, unload, and stage tile, material, tools, supplies Mix thinset, grout, and cement Cut tile using hand tools, wet saws, and grinders Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Perform demolition work Follow instructions from on-site foreman Assist tile setters Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to lift heavy objects and materials. Position requires the ability to regularly reach, bend, walk, lifting, hear well, speak distinctly. Maximum amount of weight to lift will be less than 100 pounds. Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment. Typical noise level is loud when machines are in operation.
Necessary Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety glasses, noise protection for ears, respirator, shoes or boots designed to work in the construction arena as well as safety of others. Safety glasses, noise protection, gloves, and respirator are provided. You will be required to provide your own basic tools.
Pay:
Starting at $18/hour, depending on experience.
