The ideal candidate will have proven professional experience in carpet fitting, stretching, seaming, and finishing to industry standards. The position is full-time, paid hourly for 40 hours a week. Pay is $23-$28/hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of professional carpet installation experience (not DIY or side work) Knowledge of proper tools, adhesives, and techniques for residential/commercial jobs 3 years Carpet Installation Experience minimum Ability to lift 60 lbs Current Driver's License Clean driving record, no SR22 Legal to work in the US verified through E-Verify No felonies Your own hand tools Ability to measure, cut, and seam carpet accurately Transportation to the shop in Garden City by 7:30 am each day Key Responsibilities Manage people and get along with other trades on site Proficient at running a Power Stretcher with poles Excellent seam knowledge and hand skills Benefits IRA with company match after 90 days Paid Holidays Paid vacation sick pay after 90 days Spark MD available after probationary period Branded Shirts after probationary period We carry the license and bond We supply the jobs year round Training and Education We supply all tools except your personal hand tools Work vehicle for transportation from the shop to the job site Weekly pay Overtime We are the best installation shop in the valley and believe in providing a high level of service, mastery of a trade, doing it right the first time and having each other's backs.
