Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Flooring Installer and bring expert craftsmanship to commercial construction projects! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, carpet, vinyl, and protect all ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help transform spaces, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments for clients. Duties Measure, cut, and prepare flooring materials based on project schematics and blueprints to ensure precise installation. Install various flooring types such as tile, vinyl, laminate, protect all , and carpet with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and floor plans to execute installations accurately. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to prepare surfaces, lay flooring, caulk edges, trim carpentry details, and perform fixture installation. Conduct site assessments for water damage restoration projects or remodeling jobs to determine necessary repairs or flooring replacements. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling debris, buffing floors when needed, and performing routine floor care to uphold quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction estimating processes. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and using hand tools as well as power tools for precise work. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and floor care practices is highly desirable. Experience with caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, restoration industry practices, and construction painting is a plus. Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation or remodeling projects enhances versatility on-site. Strong background in construction site experience with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills combined with handyman experience or concrete finishing skills will support seamless project execution.
