Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Tile and Wood Floor Professional to join our team. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and finishing of tile and wood flooring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring techniques, as well as experience in related construction tasks. Duties Install tile and wood flooring according to project specifications and design plans. Perform floor care duties including cleaning, buffing, and maintaining the integrity of installed surfaces. Execute trim carpentry tasks to ensure seamless transitions between flooring types. Conduct drywall repairs and finishing as needed during flooring projects. Read blueprints and project plans to accurately assess job requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to facilitate efficient workflow. Assist in concrete finishing when required for subfloor preparation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in tile laying and wood floor installation. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Skills in trim carpentry, drywall work, concrete finishing, and construction painting are highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials as needed.
