Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering exceptional results on every project. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in flooring installation and construction while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate placement of flooring materials Install various types of flooring such as tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet with precision and attention to detail Perform surface preparation tasks including leveling, caulking, trimming, and water damage restoration as needed Utilize hand tools and carpentry skills for fixture installation, trim carpentry, and cabinet setup Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, sealing, and finishing to achieve a polished look Assist with remodeling projects by applying construction painting, concrete finishing, and restoration industry best practices Skills Strong knowledge of flooring installation techniques including tile laying and water damage restoration Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) Experience with construction estimating and site management processes Familiarity with the use of schematics for fixture installation and cabinetry work Knowledge of the restoration industry standards related to water damage repair and floor care Skilled in caulking, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, remodeling, and construction painting Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during projects Prior construction site experience preferred; handyman experience is a plus Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a vibrant construction environment.
