We are seeking an experienced Measurement & Flooring Estimator who can accurately assess project requirements, prepare detailed estimates, and deliver a white-glove customer experience. Position Summary The Measurement & Flooring Estimator is responsible for conducting on-site measurements, evaluating project conditions, and preparing accurate flooring estimates for luxury residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed on-site measurements for luxury residential flooring projects. Assess existing floor conditions and identify installation requirements and potential challenges. Prepare accurate material takeoffs, labor calculations, and project estimates. Review blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications. Consult with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and project managers to understand project goals and expectations. Maintain accurate measurement records and project documentation. Coordinate with sales staff, installation teams, and suppliers to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction. Stay current on flooring products, installation methods, and industry best practices. Represent the company professionally while providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in flooring estimation, field measuring, construction estimating, or a related field. Strong knowledge of engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), carpet, woven & tufted carpet, tile, and specialty flooring products. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required. This position requires regular travel to customer homes, job sites, and project locations throughout the Baltimore area. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
