JOB DESCRIPTION

Above The Rest Flooring and More Tile Setter Job Responsibilities Installing a variety of tile and stone to industry standards Follow blueprints Lay out of tile and stone installation Mixing of various types of mortars and grouts Cutting tiles using saws, tile cutters, and grinders Grouting, caulking, polishing, and cleaning tile Maintain finishing tools, grout floats, grout saws, caulking guns, and cleaning equipment Mentor Helpers on finishing techniques and quality standards Follow safety procedures and comply with jobsite regulations Requirements for

Setters :

Minimum of 3 years previous tile experience (with a minimum 1 year specific to setting tile) Strong work ethic (reliable with a positive attitude) Must be 18 years of age or older Valid DL and reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, 60+ Good math skills Knowledge of industry standards and products Attention to detail and time management Must be able to follow installation instructions/prescribed method of install Good customer service/manners Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors) Perform quality control assessments throughout the duration of every project to ensure the completion of all work to a standard of excellence Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times.
