Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and creating beautiful, durable floors that meet project specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install flooring materials with precision. Lay tiles, hardwood planks, laminate panels, or vinyl sheets according to manufacturer instructions and project requirements. Perform surface preparation tasks such as leveling, caulking seams, sealing joints, and applying underlayment. Conduct restoration work including water damage repair, floor buffing, refinishing, and industry-specific restoration techniques. Install fixtures such as trims, moldings, baseboards, cabinets, and other related carpentry components to ensure a polished finish. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction fields, floating, laminate, glue-down, and vinyl. Resume is not required but desired. Must have verifiable references. Drug Free with positive attitude. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., sanders, buffers), and construction equipment used on-site. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation work. Experience with water damage restoration techniques, floor care procedures, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and remodeling projects.
