Position Overview We install high-performance concrete coating systems in residential and commercial environments, including flake floors, metallic epoxy, and decorative concrete overlays. This is not entry-level "easy labor." This is a skilled trade that requires attention to detail, physical effort, and pride in the finished product. We are building a high-performance crew , not hiring bodies. Reality Check (Read Before Applying) If your only exposure to epoxy floors is what you've seen on social media, understand this: Those videos show the final 5% of the job —not the 95% that actually matters.
This job involves:
Hours of concrete grinding (loud, dusty, physical work) Detailed prep work before coatings are installed Hot garages in summer and cold conditions in winter Long days when required to complete installs properly Repetitive cleaning, vacuuming, and material handling If you're looking for something easy, clean, or low-effort—this is not the job. Core Responsibilities Concrete surface prep (grinding, crack repair, cleaning) Mixing and installing epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic systems Flake broadcasting and backrolling techniques Jobsite protection, masking, and organization Loading/unloading equipment and maintaining trailer readiness Following installation systems and SOPs precisely What Matters (Non-Negotiables) Shows up on time—no exceptions Reliable transportation to job sites Works hard without constant supervision Maintains attention to detail (this is finish work) Physically capable of demanding labor Able to work occasional weekends as needed Clean criminal background Doesn't complain about dust, heat, or long days Takes ownership of the final product Preferred (Not Required) Experience in epoxy or concrete coatings Construction, flooring, or trade background Experience with grinders or surface prep equipment We will train the right person. We will not carry the wrong one. Pay Structure Explained After initial training, installers move into a piece-rate system based on production. Jobs are assigned a crew payout Faster, high-quality installs = higher effective hourly rate Slow or careless work = lower earnings Most people fail in this role because they underestimate the physical and mental demands. Those who push through the learning curve are the ones who earn the most. Growth Opportunity Installer → Lead Installer Lead Installer → Crew Leader Opportunity to grow with a company expanding into larger residential and commercial projects Hiring Process Qualified applicants may be offered a paid 1-2 day working interview to evaluate fit.
