Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Tile Installers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be working exclusively on luxury residential projects in the Greater St. Louis and St. Charles areas - this is not production or basic tile work. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship, precise measurements, and seamless finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed installation instructions to ensure accurate tile placement. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Measure and cut tiles precisely using hand tools and power tools to fit designated spaces, including corners and irregular surfaces. Install tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with attention to detail for consistent grout lines and alignment. Apply grout, caulking, sealants, and finishing touches to achieve a polished appearance. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve onsite challenges. Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
