Tile Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with durable, aesthetically pleasing tile work that meets client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation by assessing schematics, blueprints, and project plans. Cut, shape, and lay tiles using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and efficiency. Apply adhesives, grout, caulking, and sealants to secure tiles and ensure a long-lasting finish. Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations. Prepare surfaces by performing demolition, cleaning, leveling, and water damage restoration as needed. Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, cabinetry, and other related components to complement tile work. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in tile laying, flooring installation, or related construction fields with a focus on tile work. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read schematics accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, saws; power tools including drills and grinders; and flooring care equipment. Strong background in construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and restoration industry practices. Skills in caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, concrete finishing, remodeling projects, and water damage restoration are highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail.
