Flooring Installer

Job Summary MGM Carpet and Flooring is looking to hire a flooring installer. Experience is required, must be a motivated worker! We are located in Millville. Looking to hire someone in house who is willing to learn and grow with the growing business. We are willing to hire the right person and set them up for a career! This is a construction job but you still must come to work presentable. You will be required to provide you own basic tools for the job. Drugs will not be tolerated! Hours vary week to week and some nights and weekends may be required. We do not tolerate lateness, we don't keep our customers waiting! Pay rate is determined by experience. Duties Install a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet in residential and commercial settings. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper adhesion. Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations. Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites. Skills A fast paced work ethic is required. Strong desire to learn a trade and have a career in the flooring industry. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
