Epoxy Flooring Technician

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Flooring Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, installing, and finishing epoxy flooring systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with durable, high-quality flooring solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion for epoxy coatings Mix epoxy resins and hardeners accurately according to manufacturer specifications Apply epoxy coatings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes Install additional flooring components such as tile, trim carpentry, or fixtures as needed for comprehensive floor restoration projects Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements and ensure precise application of materials Conduct water damage restoration tasks related to flooring and assess site conditions for repair or replacement needs Perform floor care activities including buffing, polishing, and sealing to enhance durability and appearance Experience Proven experience in flooring installation, especially with epoxy systems in commercial or industrial settings Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for project planning Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, and concrete finishing techniques Knowledge of tile laying, cabinet installation, fixture installation, and remodeling is a plus Background in water damage restoration or floor care industry enhances your versatility on site Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow management Additional skills in schematics interpretation, carpentry (including trim carpentry), construction painting, buffing, and restoration industry practices are highly desirable Join us if you're eager to bring your construction expertise into a specialized role that combines craftsmanship with innovative flooring solutions.
