Commack, NY Ceramic Tile Installer or Foreman (Subcontractor) Ready to step up and run the floor? Sterling Floor Designs—a woman-owned, family-operated industry leader for over 45 years—is looking for an experienced ceramic tile installer who can run a jobsite as foreman and lead a crew of installers across NYC and Long Island, with competitive pay of $30.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience.

Reach:
Most of our current work is in western Long Island, the Bronx, and NYC—but project locations shift, so we're looking for someone ready to go wherever the work takes us.
What You'll Master Jobsite Leadership:
When ready, run the jobsite as foreman, keeping crews on schedule and on target for daily installation completion goals.
Ceramic Installation:
Install ceramic flooring across commercial construction sites, private construction sites, and replacement venues throughout NYC and Long Island.
Quality Execution:
Match your craftsmanship to the variety and quality of goods on each job—better materials, better rates.
What You Bring The Certification:
Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required, minimum); OSHA 62 is a plus.
The Experience:
Proven track record installing ceramic, with the leadership skills to run a jobsite as foreman a plus but not required.
The Gear:
Your own tools and reliable transportation to get to job sites across the region.
The Mobility:
Comfortable moving between jobsites whenever required—wherever the work takes you.
The Communication:
Fluent English speaker.
The Coverage:
Active Workers' Compensation and General Liability insurance.
The Perks Competitive Pay:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience, with rates also adjustable by yard or square footage depending on the job.
