Little Paws of Hope is looking for a Daycare Coach to join our team. Our organization is all about dogs and their people. At Little Paws of Hope we pride ourselves on providing prompt and consistent care for our fur babies . We are staffed 365 days a year, making our holiday seasons some of our most exciting and busy times! What we're looking for:

Purpose of Job The Daycare Coach's role is to help manage safe and controlled playgroups and to oversee the total care of all the dogs in the facility. You will be critical in helping to maintain the high standard and quality of individualized care our customers have come to expect. We need you paying attention to the details, communicating effectively with staff and management. You will be part of a team here at Little Paws of Hope. We all wathc out for each other and pitch in whenever we can. What you will be doing Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, both inside & outside Work as a team to ensure obedience skills are used to manage the pack Observe dogs for any and all odd behaviors, signs of illness or injury and report to management Maintain sanitary play yards, suites and enclosures to ensure that Little Paws of Hope is inviting and clean at all times Must be able to follow directions and comply with processes and procedures for best practices in animal care, health and safety Assist management in ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed Read white board on a daily basis and take note of all comings/goings, special instructions, etc. Physical Requirements Ability to lift food and belongings weighing up to 50 pounds Work standing, walking and bending for 6-8 hour shifts Stamina to work with energetic dogs, while ensuring our facility is inviting and sanitary Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a pet facility or pet care environment a plus Basic understanding of dog communication Excellent work history Join our team where your passion for animals can make a difference every day!

Pay:

$17.50 - $24.44 per hour
