Load and unload materials as needed. Assist Shipping Department and Shift Supervisor as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Plant "housekeeping" duties. Responsible for QMS policies and procedures. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks and assisting Shipping/Receiving when needed. Responsible for moving product to and from process operations. Responsible for movement of raw material, WIP, finished goods and waste throughout the facility. Ability to utilize all material handling equipment (i.e. skid wrapper, skid bander, etc.). Must achieve Forklift certification. Perform job duties according to customer and company quality and security specifications. Perform tasks safely and in accordance with Ashton Potter health &safety, attendance and other company policies and procedures. Keep work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as directed by supervision. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. May be called upon to move loaded pallets using manual floor jacks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
