Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer Assistant to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support experienced flooring installers in preparing work sites, handling tools, and assisting with various flooring projects. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute to delivering high-quality flooring installations that enhance our clients' spaces. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction, flooring installation, and restoration industries while developing valuable skills for future growth. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of work sites, including measuring, layout, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal conditions for flooring installation Support with the handling and use of hand tools and power tools such as caulking guns, saws, drills, and buffing equipment Help with the installation of various flooring materials including tile, laminate, hardwood, and vinyl by following blueprints and schematics Aid in the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, cabinets, and other related components during remodeling or restoration projects Participate in water damage restoration efforts by removing damaged flooring and preparing surfaces for new installations Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all team members Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas to promote efficiency and safety throughout each project Experience Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or remodeling projects is preferred but not required; training will be provided Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or flooring installation enhances your candidacy Experience in water damage restoration or floor care is advantageous Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role Join us to build a rewarding career supporting top-tier flooring projects! Pay:
$18.00 - $28.50 per hour
