Full Job Description About Us:
Loomis Companies is a full service general contractor performing general contracting, construction management, design/build, and turnkey development services, along with a comprehensive range of preconstruction services. - At least 4 years of experience with positive references
- Ability to work independently, or on a team, as needed
- Experience installing LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) , VCT, LVT, Ceramic TIle
- Professional appearance, excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must have self-discipline, with an "on-time," and, "ready to work," attitude
- Ability to multi-task with strict deadlines
- Must have his/her own basic tools Duties include:
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans and blueprints
- Work with complex power tools, such as tile saws, carpet and vinyl cutters
- Measuring and marking materials for flooring installs
- Perform installation of commercial flooring including:
Prepping Floors:
Level and float floors Install the following flooring:LVP VCT LVT
Carpet tile Ceramic tile Installation of vinyl and carpet base also required- Ability to lift 80+ pounds
