Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Epoxy Flooring Technician and become a vital part of transforming spaces with durable, high-quality epoxy flooring solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring flawless finishes that meet industry standards. Your expertise will help clients achieve long-lasting, aesthetically appealing floors in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working on diverse projects that challenge and develop your skills every day. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete or existing flooring to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings. Mix and apply epoxy resins and hardeners accurately according to project specifications and safety guidelines. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install flooring materials with precision. Read blueprints, schematics, and project plans to understand scope and technical requirements for each job. Perform floor finishing tasks such as buffing, polishing, and sealing to achieve a smooth, professional appearance. Conduct water damage restoration procedures when necessary to repair and restore affected flooring areas. Collaborate with construction teams on tile laying, cabinet installation, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and other related tasks to support comprehensive project completion. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on flooring installation or related trades such as tile laying or carpentry. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing work. Knowledge of restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care techniques. Prior work in the restoration or remodeling industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction painting, concrete finishing, buffing, and the use of various construction materials. Additional handyman experience or skills in fixture installation, caulking, trim carpentry, or cabinetry will be considered a plus. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
