About us Coastal Restoration is a small business in Gearhart, OR. We are professional, fast-paced, rewarding and our goal is to Here at coastal restoration services we know that when minutes matter quality counts and we want to provide you with outstanding service, professionalism, and a true caring touch to help you put your life back together after a disaster. We are looking to hire a full time professional flooring installer. We have a high standard of quality and a busy schedule to go with it. Our crew is family oriented and values our work environment to a high degree. Pay DOE. Apply today! Primary Duties Install flooring materials including LVP, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, sheet vinyl, and tile as applicable. Remove and dispose of existing flooring, underlayment, trim, transitions, and related materials. Inspect and prepare subfloors, including minor leveling, patching, fastening, and moisture-related concerns. Install baseboards, shoe molding, transitions, stair nosings, and finish details as needed. Follow manufacturer installation requirements and Coastal Restoration quality standards. Protect customer property, finished surfaces, cabinets, walls, and adjacent work areas. Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after each workday. Communicate daily progress, material needs, site issues, and schedule impacts to the Project Manager. Identify and report hidden damage, moisture concerns, subfloor problems, or scope changes before proceeding. Load, unload, transport, and organize flooring materials, tools, and equipment. Work professionally around customers, team members, subcontractors, and insurance-related project stakeholders. Assist with general reconstruction tasks when flooring work is not the primary need. Desired Qualifications Drug free - No criminal background - Valid Drivers License Prior flooring installation experience required. Ability to read basic scopes, measurements, work orders, and installation instructions. Knowledge of subfloor preparation, layout, cuts, transitions, and finish details. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to lift materials, work on knees, use power tools, and perform physically demanding construction work.
