Job Description
We are looking for an experienced floor covering installer to hire in about one week for a full-time position within our company. Experience is required. Must submit a resume with professional references included. Bonuses start to be paid out after completing a successful 90-day probationary period. After a 90-day probationary period, monthly bonuses are paid out based on job specifications and performance . Will be responsible for quality control checks on helpers Must be able to pass a background check successfully. Must have a valid driver's license or have the ability to obtain one before the hire date. Must work effectively with a crew AND on solo jobs. Must have transportation to the building every weekday; work vans and trucks are provided for traveling to and from all job sites and material warehouses. Must lift large loads weighing between 50 and 100 lbs. The company provides uniform shirts, which must be worn each working day. We also provide optional hats, beanies, sweatshirts, and jackets. Some job duties may include, but are not limited to: Cleaning and preparing construction sites. Assist in keeping tools and supplies organized and in proper working condition. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Operation of a forklift, pallet jack, or liftgate. Building and taking down preparation materials/temporary structures. Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment. Following instructions from superiors and implementing construction plans. Reading and following instructions on a work order. Floor covering installation, preparation, and repair. Tear-out/ demolition of existing material. Must bring a professional and positive attitude. :)
