Hardwood Floor Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, restoring, and maintaining high-quality hardwood flooring across various residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Install hardwood flooring using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment with precision and attention to detail Perform restoration work on existing floors, including sanding, buffing, water damage repair, and refinishing to restore their original beauty Read blueprints and schematics to accurately measure and plan flooring layouts and installation procedures Conduct floor care maintenance such as cleaning, polishing, and applying protective finishes to extend the lifespan of floors Handle related tasks such as tile laying, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, caulking, fixture installation, and remodeling projects as needed Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials required, and timeframes for efficient project planning Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, restoration industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and use of hand tools and power tools Hands-on experience with water damage restoration, floor care techniques, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, cabinetry work, and remodeling projects Familiarity with the use of construction site safety practices and ability to work in various environments including water damage restoration sites Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for precise installation and restoration tasks Excellent craftsmanship in carpentry skills including cabinet installation and construction painting Previous experience working with concrete finishing or remodeling projects is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Join us as a Hardwood Floor Specialist where your craftsmanship will elevate interiors!
