We perform both residential and commercial flooring projects throughout Alaska, including occasional remote work assignments. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship. Experience with carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), sheet vinyl, VCT, and other floor coverings is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals for helper positions. Flooring Installer Duties Install carpet, carpet tile, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), sheet vinyl, VCT, and other flooring materials. Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials to project specifications. Prepare subfloors through patching, leveling, grinding, and cleaning. Read project plans, specifications, and work orders. Maintain quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction. Operate and maintain flooring tools and equipment. Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Complete projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Flooring Helper Duties Assist installers with flooring preparation and installation. Move materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare work areas and clean job sites. Assist with measuring, cutting, and material handling. Learn installation techniques and flooring industry best practices. Maintain tools and equipment. Follow safety procedures and directions from supervisors. Qualifications Flooring or construction experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
