In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, ensuring precise craftsmanship and high-quality finishes. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering exceptional results for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in flooring installation and construction while working on diverse projects across residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install flooring materials with accuracy and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure proper placement and alignment Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors to create optimal conditions for flooring installation Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure flooring components Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed Assist with demolition and site preparation activities in remodeling or renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Skills Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and floor care equipment such as buffing machines Familiarity with schematics, construction painting, concrete finishing, and remodeling techniques Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installations Experience in restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care maintenance Excellent carpentry skills including trim carpentry, caulking, fixture installation, cabinet setup, and water damage repair Knowledge of the use of schematics for planning installations or repairs Handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to build beautiful spaces!
