In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in completing residential and commercial projects efficiently and safely. Your enthusiasm for construction, combined with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, will contribute to delivering high-quality results on every job site. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, including drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and restoration work. Duties Assist with the installation of drywall, flooring, tile, and trim carpentry components according to project specifications and schematics Prepare work areas by cleaning, measuring, and setting up tools and materials for efficient workflow Support team members in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during construction tasks Help with surface preparation activities such as sanding, caulking, priming, and water damage restoration Aid in fixture installation, cabinet setup, and other finishing touches to ensure quality craftsmanship Follow blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project plans while maintaining safety standards Participate in remodeling projects by assisting with demolition, painting, concrete finishing, and floor care tasks Experience Previous experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, buffing equipment, and other relevant equipment is advantageous Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to support project execution effectively Experience in the restoration industry or water damage restoration projects is beneficial Basic understanding of flooring installation techniques such as tile laying and flooring finishing is desirable Prior handyman experience or carpentry skills including trim carpentry and fixture installation will be considered an asset Join us to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment where teamwork drives success!
