Per square foot — based on job type About the Opportunity We are a Houston-based flooring company looking for an experienced flooring installer to join our team as an independent subcontractor. This is a 1099 position — not an employee role. You will be called for jobs as they come in, with the opportunity for consistent, steady work as we grow. We handle the customers, quotes, and scheduling. You show up, install, and get paid. Work Types Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) — click-lock and floating installations Large format tile (porcelain / stone / 12"+ format) Standard tile (ceramic / subway / mosaic / under 12") Pay Rate (per square foot) Large tile: $5.00/sf Standard tile: $3.00/sf Vinyl plank /

LVP:

$2.00/sf Pay is issued upon job completion. Requirements Minimum 5 years of hands-on flooring installation experience Proficient in LVP, large format tile, and standard tile Must own all necessary tools (wet saw, trowels, spacers, level, knee pads, etc.) Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, professional job site Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor — no benefits or employee status provided Preferred Experience with subfloor prep and leveling Able to do tile removal and demo Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus To Apply Send a message with: Your experience (years and floor types) A few photos of recent work Your availability Serious inquiries only.
