We are seeking Tile Installers in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong craftsmanship, technical knowledge of construction materials and methods, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while working in a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and efficiency. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary substrates to ensure proper tile adhesion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Measure spaces accurately and plan tile layouts to optimize material use and aesthetic appeal. Cut tiles precisely using hand tools or power tools such as wet saws, tile cutters, or grinders. Install tiles using appropriate adhesives, grout, caulking, and sealants while maintaining consistent spacing and alignment. Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, sealing edges, and applying protective coatings to ensure durability. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry to coordinate project timelines. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Assist in remodeling or restoration projects by replacing or repairing existing tile surfaces. Experience Proven experience in tile installation within construction or renovation projects. Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and concrete forming techniques. Knowledge of various materials including ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass, and specialty tiles. Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws). Understanding of related trades such as plastering, masonry, framing carpentry, roofing, drywall installation, and flooring. Experience with construction inspection procedures ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites. Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproofing and sealing joints effectively. Familiarity with construction software like Bluebeam for project documentation. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. This position is integral to delivering durable and visually appealing surfaces that meet our clients' expectations.
