Flooring Installation Manager Location Corporate Office 2301 S 300 W Salt Lake City, UT 84115 Hours Full-Time Starting Wage $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year Description Hard Surface Installation Manager This position is responsible for overseeing flooring installation operations, contractor performance, training initiatives, and quality assurance. This role ensures all installations meet company, manufacturer, and industry standards while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. The Installation Manager partners closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support efficient operations and continuous improvement. This full-time, salaried role offers the opportunity to earn a substantial quarterly bonus based on performance. The base wage ranges from $65,000 to $67,000 per year. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day installation operations, including contractor scheduling, job readiness, and workflow coordination Supervise the Corporate Flooring Office Evaluate, onboard, and train installation contractors to ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards Monitor contractor performance, holding partners accountable for quality, professionalism, and adherence to specifications Conduct inspections and assess flooring issues, determining root causes (installation, product, or environmental) and recommending solutions Manage and resolve complex customer concerns Coordinate with manufacturers and third-party vendors to facilitate product knowledge Support warehouse and store operations as needed, including material handling and job site coordination Oversee administrative processes such as contract invoicing and tracking outstanding work Partner with customer service and estimating teams to ensure seamless communication and scheduling Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards Travel as needed to support operations, training, and inspections All other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation, contracting, or a related field Strong knowledge of flooring products and installation methods, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, LVT, VCT, and rigid core Experience evaluating installation quality and diagnosing issues across product types Demonstrated ability to manage contractor relationships and drive performance accountability Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive or complex customer situations Effective communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; experience with RFMS preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to operate warehouse equipment (or willingness to be trained) Preferred Qualifications Experience in training or developing installation teams Experience estimating materials and labor for flooring projects Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics coordination Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing teams Ready to join the team?
