This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Installers must be able to deliver high-quality results on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Compensation & Structure This is a 1099 independent contractor role Compensation is based on jobs completed 50% deposit paid up front, 50% paid upon completion of the job Competitive pay structure, with consistent work opportunities available Responsibilities Accurately measure, cut, and install tile (ceramic, porcelain, stone, and mosaics) Prepare and level surfaces, including backer board installation and waterproofing as needed Lay out tile patterns with precision and attention to design specifications Apply mortar, grout, and ensure a clean, polished finish Track progress from initial setup through job completion Collaborate with project managers for scheduling and site readiness Maintain a safe and professional job site
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years proven experience as a tile installer
Licensing:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Utah specialty contractor license (e.g., S220 Carpentry & Flooring Contractor or S293 Marble, Tile & Ceramic)
Tools & Supplies:
Must provide your own tools and supplies (wet saw, trowels, spacers, etc.)
Materials Provided:
We provide tile, grout, and trim pieces
Work Ethic:
