Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a flooring installer to join our team. Flooring installation experience is required for this position. As one of our flooring installers, you will be responsible for installing hardwood, luxury vinyl, and laminate. We specialize in high end residential remodel work, so attention to detail and good communication skills are crucial to this position. We are looking for detail oriented installers with a positive attitude that want to learn and grow in the company. We take pride in our work and are looking for individuals who feel the same.Pay:
We offer a competitive hourly rate with benefits.Duties:
- Install various flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, and luxury vinyl plank
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing existing flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring materials
- Apply adhesives, nails, or staples to secure flooring materials in place
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials
- Trim excess material and finish edges as needed
- Clean up work area and remove debris throughout the day and at the end of every work day.
Skills:
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related carpentry work
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing flooring materials
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges during installation.
