Hourly Wage:

The Role:
As an Acoustical Specialist, you'll be a key player on high-growth commercial projects—from schools and universities to hotels and restaurants. You'll bring your expertise to the site every day, ensuring that every grid is perfectly square and every specialty system is installed to the highest standard.
What You Bring:
Proven Experience:
3+ years of expert-level knowledge of ceiling grid, specialty ceilings, and acoustical tile installations.
Precision & Speed:
Ability to measure, layout, and install complex systems accurately while keeping up with job flow.
Technical Literacy:
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
The Right Tools:
Knowledge of power tools, lasers, and the ability to work comfortably on scaffolds, aerial lifts, and stilts.

Paid time off Professional development assistance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Will you be able to reliably commute to job sites and training classes around Hampton Roads? Are you available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends? (Yes/No) This role requires heavy lifting, working on scaffolding, stilts, and operating lifts. Are you fully comfortable and certified (where applicable) to operate scissor lifts or work on high staging? Which major manufacturer systems have you independently installed? Describe your experience installing high-end or non-standard ceiling systems, such as concealed grids, linear wood ceilings, or heavy acoustic clouds/baffles. On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you reading reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), architectural drawings, and manufacturer installation shop drawings?
