In this role, you'll be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring each installation meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties Measure and prepare flooring surfaces using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to accurately execute installation plans Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors to create optimal conditions for flooring installation Install various flooring types such as underlayment, overlayment, epoxy flakes systems and sealer coats with attention to detail and craftsmanship Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials required, and timeframes Conduct floor care maintenance including buffing, cleaning, and refinishing to uphold quality standards post-installation Experience Proven experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating, concrete polishing and staining or related construction work with a focus on flooring projects Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site preparation techniques Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools including drills and sanders; and specialized equipment for floor finishing Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and floor care procedures Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and ability to work efficiently in diverse environments Skills in concrete finishing or handyman tasks are a plus for versatile project support Join us to build beautiful floors that make a lasting impression!
