Laminate Floor Installer Sheboygan, WI 53081 $600 a day - Contract $600 a day - Contract Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laminate Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality laminate flooring. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring durable, visually appealing floors that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your craftsmanship, and contribute to beautiful, lasting results. Duties Remove all existing vinyl tile flooring in the kitchen, hallway, closet, and pantry down to the subfloor Repair/replace damaged subfloor plywood under the refrigerator area — install new plywood to make it level and stable Disconnect and pull out refrigerator (with ice maker), dishwasher, and stove/oven Install LVP flooring throughout entire job. Reinstall base trim Install transition strips between new kitchen flooring and existing bathroom floor Install transition strips between new kitchen flooring and existing laundry room floor Install transition strips between new kitchen flooring and existing carpet in living room (remove old metal strip, install new matching strip) Install transition strips at two bedrooms off the hallway Install transition strips at closet and pantry entrances Reinstall refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove/oven — reconnect all water lines, electrical, ice maker line, and drains Thoroughly clean work area and remove all job-related debris Requirements Must bring own tools Proven experience in flooring installation, including laminate, tile laying, or related construction work Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools is essential Experience with carpentry tasks like trim carpentry, cabinet installation, fixture setup, and remodeling projects Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols; experience on construction sites preferred Strong understanding of restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care maintenance Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements and site conditions Join us in creating stunning floors that elevate spaces!
