This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in detail, and wants to learn the glazing and door installation trade. You'll assist with cutting and installing molding, applying precise caulking, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and ensuring each job runs smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Assist with door installations , including entry, interior, exterior, and closet doors. Assist with window Installations , including retro, block and new constrution Cut and install molding accurately to achieve clean, professional finishes. Apply caulking and sealants neatly and effectively. Prepare tools, materials, and hardware for each job. Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and vehicles. Communicate clearly with the Field Lead and anticipate project needs. Load and unload materials and assist with setup and teardown. Follow safety procedures and company policies. Learn best practices for door installation, finishing, and customer service.
Qualifications Required:
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn the trade Own tools- measuring tape, utility knife, small pry bar, putty knife, power tools/ drill Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools Physically able to lift heavy materials and work on-site daily Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Preferred:
Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or door installation Familiarity with molding, trim work, or caulking Understanding of basic measurements and jobsite safety
