Job Description

Experienced Glazier / Glass Installer East Bay Glass is seeking an experienced Glazier to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled, reliable professional with extensive experience in both residential and commercial glazing systems. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can independently perform field service work, troubleshoot problems, interact professionally with customers, and work as part of a team on larger projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in residential and commercial glazing. Extensive knowledge of residential window and door systems, including vinyl windows and patio doors. Extensive knowledge of commercial storefront systems, glazing systems, and related hardware. Ability to accurately obtain glass sizes and field measurements from existing residential and commercial window applications. Strong understanding of waterproofing principles and installation methods for: • Vinyl windows Patio sliding doors Commercial storefront systems Commercial storefront entry doors Proficient in commercial and residential caulking applications. Experience troubleshooting and installing glass railing systems is a plus. Ability to read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and field measurements. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate and explain, in detail, the proper step-by-step process for: Vinyl window installation Mirror installation Patio door installation Commercial storefront fabrication Commercial storefront assembly Commercial storefront installation Candidates should be prepared to discuss installation procedures during the interview process and may be asked to demonstrate practical skills, including caulking proficiency. Work Ethic & Professional Expectations We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual capable of independently handling field service calls while also working effectively as part of a team on larger projects.
The ideal candidate must:
Be punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions. Possess basic technology skills, including the ability to operate field service applications on an iPad or similar device. Speak English fluently and communicate effectively with customers, project managers, superintendents, and fellow employees. Spanish language skills are a plus. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times in the field. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, solution-oriented attitude. Be capable of working through challenges and identifying practical solutions in the field. Take ownership of assigned work and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Work safely, efficiently, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Be willing to learn, adapt, and contribute to the success of the team. We are seeking someone who brings solutions to the table, not excuses. The successful candidate will be resourceful, adaptable, and committed to helping the company and our customers achieve successful outcomes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift, carry, and install glass and glazing materials. Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and construction sites. Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.

Compensation:
