The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a variety of structures, including Commercial and residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. The Glazier will collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure that all glass installations meet safety standards and client specifications. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures. Measure glass to specified dimensions.. Hang doors and ensure proper alignment with frames. Conduct heavy lifting of glass panels and other materials safely. Apply caulking to seal edges of installed glass for weatherproofing. Maintain a clean and organized construction site. Skills Proficiency in store front framing techniques. Experience with chop saw cutting and measuring Knowledge of construction glazing and installing methods Ability to install frames & glass pieces accurately. Skills in door hanging and alignment. Familiarity with various construction site practices and safety protocols. Capability for heavy lifting, ensuring safe handling of materials.
