Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and fabricating glass and related materials across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all installations meet safety standards, quality expectations, and project timelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from storefronts to custom glass fixtures, contributing to the transformation of spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Duties Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom glass fixtures according to project specifications and schematics Use hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, and pliers as well as power tools including drills, saws, and glass cutters for precise fabrication and installation Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials safely while adhering to proper handling procedures Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and airtight seals around windows, doors, or glass fixtures Complete remodeling tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, fixture setup, and metal framing as needed on-site Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and assembly techniques used in construction projects Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to handle heavy lifting safely Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in measuring and cutting materials precisely Valid experience in construction painting or handyman tasks is a plus Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including climbing ladders or scaffolding when necessary We are open to both experienced installers or someone new to the trade. We are willing to teach on site. However, carpentry and experience using a variety of tools is highly preferable. Pay range dependent upon experience.
