Flat Glass Technician

We're eagerly looking for a flat glass technician with the following skills. The applicant is

REQUIRED

to have prior glass experience. Very busy, fast paced full service shop. We have been servicing the CT communities for almost 40 years.

• Window glass/hardware repair and replacement; i.e-Storm windows, vinyl replacement units with insulated glass, wood sash windows.
• Cutting and polishing annealed glass-i.e. tabletops, glass for frames, etc.
• Cutting and polishing mirrors with and without patterns
• Cutting and polishing the following:
• Laminated Safety Glass
• Polycarbonate or plexiglass
• Neoceram/Fireplace glass and installation into woodstove door
• Screen repair and replacement
• Experience with edging/polishing machines as well as changing hardware and cleaning machine.
• Experience with shower doors and installation a plus!

(Not required) This is strictly an IN SHOP position 90% of the time. Occasional times to go out in the field, otherwise will be in shop work.
