Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, carpentry, and working on construction sites. This role involves installing windows and related fixtures with precision and safety, contributing to high-quality building projects. Candidates should be familiar with blueprint reading, schematics, and various hand and power tools. A strong background in remodeling, framing, and fabrication is preferred to ensure efficient and professional installations. Duties Install windows, including framing, trimming, and caulking to ensure proper fit and finish Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate installation Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble window components Perform metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry as needed for window openings Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting large or bulky window units Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, or other related components during remodeling projects Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for window installation when necessary Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of debris Experience Proven experience in window or glass installation within construction or remodeling projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication processes Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, drywall work, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and remodeling projects Background in construction site work with familiarity in carpentry, maintenance person tasks, construction painting, assembly, and manufacturing environments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites Prior experience with schematics interpretation and blueprint reading is highly desirable Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites is essential This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical skill and craftsmanship.
