In this role, you will assist skilled carpenters and installers in the installation, fabrication, and finishing of windows and doors across various construction sites. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality results efficiently and safely. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while developing valuable skills in carpentry, glass installation, and remodeling projects. Duties Support the installation of windows and doors by assisting with framing, hanging, and securing units according to schematics and blueprints Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and prepare materials for installation Assist with glass handling, including measuring, cutting, and installing glass panels safely Help with caulking, sealing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to ensure proper fit and finish Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety protocols on site Read schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and assist with framing or metal stud framing tasks Support remodeling activities such as cabinetry installation, construction painting, or handyman tasks as needed Qualifications Prior experience in construction site work or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry techniques Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus Physical strength for heavy lifting and working on elevated or confined spaces Knowledge of construction estimating, fabrication, or manufacturing processes is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards at all times Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in remodeling, drywall finishing, or fixture installation Join our team today to build a rewarding career in construction!
