Job Description:
We are currently hiring experienced Glaziers for ongoing weekly assignments on a 3-story residential construction project . Workers will be responsible for the installation of impact windows and doors , ensuring proper fit, sealing, alignment, and secure installation according to project specifications and safety standards. This position offers 30-40 hours per week , depending on project needs and performance. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in an active construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Install impact-resistant windows and doors on residential construction projects Measure and verify openings for proper installation Remove, adjust, and install frames, glass panels, and hardware Ensure proper sealing, waterproofing, and alignment of installed units Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Work safely on scaffolding and elevated work areas as required Inspect completed installations for quality and functionality Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all jobsite safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Glazier required Experience installing impact windows and doors required Ability to read measurements and follow installation specifications Comfortable working on a 3-story residential building Ability to lift and move materials safely Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Schedule:
Weekly assignments 30-40 hours per week Monday-Sunday (hours may vary based on project schedule)
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
