Full-Time Position Overview Cash Building Materials is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Window & Door Specialist to support our residential and commercial projects. Travel is required, including work at customer residences or business locations, both locally and abroad. Overnight travel may occasionally be necessary. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in new construction and replacement projects for all types of windows and doors. The candidate must be capable of performing essential duties safely and efficiently while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of windows and doors. Read, interpret, and execute tasks from architectural drawings, shop drawings, and factory orders. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with windows and doors. Safely work at heights and operate machinery, lifts, and other equipment. Utilize hand and power tools effectively. Navigate to job sites using GPS and other tools. Travel as required for local and out-of-state projects, including occasional overnight stays. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications Strong mechanical understanding and troubleshooting skills for all types of windows and doors. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings. Comfortable working at heights and operating machinery and lifts. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Excellent navigation and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license; must be able to obtain a Class E license upon hire. Preferred Education and Experience Must have a minimum 3 years installation experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience in new construction and replacement projects involving windows and doors. Position Type and Work Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as needed. Minimum of 40 hours per week; trucks typically depart early in the day, schedule may vary. Travel across the United States may be required. Physical Demands Regularly lift/carry up to 75 lbs; occasionally lift/move over 225 lbs with team assistance. Stand for extended periods; bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Maintain vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Work shifts of 8-10 hours, with potential for longer hours. Work Environment Work performed indoors and outdoors; exposure to varying climates, airborne particles, vibrations, and mechanical parts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required. Noise levels may require hearing protection.Similar remote jobs
