Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This role requires travel and over nights out of town . The Glazier will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety standards and client specifications. Duties Install glass and frame structures for commercial buildings. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and fitting glass. Collaborate with contractors on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Perform door hanging and hardware tasks as needed, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong skills in blueprint reading. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to glass installation. Experience with maintenance person tasks related to remodeling and construction projects is preferred. Ability to work effectively on a construction site, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Safe driver license and clean record.
