Window treatment INSTALLER, PAINTER & GENERAL HANDYMAN

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Window Treatment Installer, Painter, and General Handyman to join our team. Responsibilities Install window treatments such as blinds, shades, shutters, and custom coverings with precision and care. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, and applying paint or finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces. Perform general handyman duties including drywall repair, caulking, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and minor plumbing or electrical work as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete projects on time and to specifications. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and project completion. Operate heavy equipment or scaffolding when required for larger projects or elevated work areas. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in window treatment installation, painting, or general handyman services preferred. Familiarity with construction management processes including estimating, inspection, and project coordination is a plus. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction schematics essential for precise work execution. Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, trim), masonry (concrete finishing), roofing, stucco application, or restoration work is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment when necessary. Background in construction site safety practices along with experience working on residential or commercial sites is advantageous. Additional skills such as welding, flooring installation (tile or hardwood), glass installation or fabrication will be considered a strong asset.
