In this role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install windows and doors according to project specifications and blueprints Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installations Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise placement and fitment of windows and doors Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of installations Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring proper sealing, caulking, and finishing touches Handle fabrication tasks such as trimming, framing, or customizing units as needed for specific projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window and door installation or related trades Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Familiarity with construction management principles, estimating processes, and inspection procedures Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation when necessary Experience with related trades such as carpentry, framing, roofing, masonry, or glazing is highly desirable Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and proper installation techniques for windows and doors Ability to read technical schematics related to plumbing, electrical systems or fabrication is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components accurately Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working at heights or in confined spaces Join our team today to build high-quality structures while advancing your skills in a supportive environment!
