In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of window coverings including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom treatments. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive high-quality service, enhancing their spaces with functional and stylish window solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with clients and team members, and develop your skills in a fast-paced construction environment. Duties Measure windows accurately to determine the appropriate size and type of window coverings needed Install a wide range of window treatments using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise fit and finish Repair and troubleshoot existing window coverings, replacing parts or adjusting mechanisms as necessary Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute installations correctly Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and specifications Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris following safety standards Conduct quality inspections post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to safety protocols Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles Experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation techniques Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection, and restoration processes Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital document management Strong background in carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, concrete finishing, welding, remodeling and general construction practices Ability to interpret technical drawings related to schematics for electrical or plumbing systems when needed Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during projects Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients in a professional manner Join us as a Window Covering Technician if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to deliver exceptional results.
