Job Description

Diamond Glass Company, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Residential Glazier / Glass Installer. As a glazier you will cut, fit, install, and remove glass and mirror in residential settings.
Specific responsibilities:
The proper installation of various types of glass and mirrors in various surfaces and settings, such as window glass, insulated glass units, door glass, patio sliders, showers (bypass and heavy glass custom enclosures), display cases, bathroom mirrors, mirror walls, Mirror closet doors, interior walls, and tabletops Have knowledge of setting new construction and retrofit window glass, door glass and showers, etc. Remove old or broken glass and mirrors The ability to cut, install, and properly handle glass, mirrors and enclosures to the specified size and shape (in the shop or onsite) Run glass through the polishing machine Repair residential style windows (Muntins, Locks, Balance Rods, etc.)
Requirements:
We are committed to hiring only those glaziers that are highly skilled in their strong reliability, strong work ethic, clean presentable appearance and a desire to be the best. Must have excellent customer service and good communication skills to address the customers inquires and concerns. Willingness to work in a team environment or individually. Must be able to lift and navigate a minimum of 75 pounds and have good hand and eye coordination. Ability to caulk well Must have good balance as they are sometimes required to stand on ladders and scaffolding Must have the ability and knowledge to read prints and tape measure Perform necessary tasks in a safe manner. Adhere to all safety protocols while working on job sites and in company warehouse Drug free at all times (including free of medical marijuana). Be able to maintain a clean and safe work area 3-5 years of residential experience a MUST. Must have a valid driver's license and a great driving record, able and willing to drive a company truck Must have your own set of basic tools Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Pay will be based upon experience. Top pay for the right person.
