Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install windows, siding panels, trim, and related fixtures with accuracy and care Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely to complete installations efficiently Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise placement of windows, siding, doors, and fixtures Prepare surfaces by caulking, framing, metal stud framing, or applying construction painting techniques for seamless finishes Perform heavy lifting of materials such as glass panes, siding panels, and framing components while maintaining safety protocols Conduct remodeling tasks including cabinet installation, fixture hanging, door hanging, and trim carpentry to enhance project outcomes Maintain a clean and organized worksite by following safety guidelines and ensuring proper disposal of debris Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to assess project scope and material needs accurately Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment for precise work Experience with glass installation techniques ensuring secure fitting and safety standards are met Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working on active construction sites Strong carpentry skills including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and door hanging Familiarity with remodeling processes such as drywall finishing, painting, fixture installation, and cabinetry work Physical ability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or climbing scaffolding Handyman experience that includes general repairs and maintenance tasks on various building components This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to projects that improve homes and businesses.
